"Limpiaparabrisas" : an observation
Ok, I'm probably going to sound like a twelve-year-old boy here, but this is amazing! The word limpiaparabrisas is a compound word "inception!" (For those who have seen the movie involving dreams within dreams) As most of us probably know, words like "pencil sharpener" or "skyscraper" are translated into Spanish as sacapuntas and rascacielos, or literally "it brings out the points" and "it scrapes the skies." So following that pattern a windshield would be parabrisas, or "it stops the breezes." So, what's a windshield wiper? Answer: limpiaparabrisas! "It cleans what stops the breezes!" It's a compound word "inception!" I can't get over it! Okay, you all can feel free to make fun of me now.

There are some curious words. Extravagancia mean extravagance, oddness, eccentricity. But literally Extra mean great, big and vagancia mean idleness, laziness.
I have also seen "limpiaparabrisas" for windshield washer fluid but "Lavaplatos" for dish soap and "jabón en polvo" for laundry soap not "lavaropa" pero no lo se.
