Does the phrase 'no tienes abuela' mean you are so confident that you don't need any help from anyone or does it mean you have no one to help you. Referring to myself would it be 'no tengo abuela.. Gracias

It is usually said when someone is blowing their own trumpet, ie. they mustn't have a grandma to brag about how great they are if they have to do it for themselves. I guess u cd say it about yourself in a self deprecating, humorous way - no tengo abuela.
