Quick guessing game: What are we outfitting today on SD?

I got a department store ad this weekend in Chile and thought I'd make a quick guessing game out of it. I'll give you 5 items. The first person to tell me the items and what we are outfitting will get a best answer vote from me. ¿Listo?

To win you must:

1. Write out the definitions of the items in English and Spanish.

2. Guess the general person, place or thing that we are outfitting with the items.

. Un respalda = support backing. un plumón = down ( soft feathers like from a duck). el colchon = a mattress. el velador = a candlestick. un camarote = a cabin.

So, my guess is you are setting up a habitation for a ranger or caretaker of some type.

I think Chile uses some hard words that arent' found in some dictionaries. Your dictionary is right, the Chile context is what sends it to another realm. - katydew, Apr 29, 2013
