I wonder if it would be possible to put each most recent sub-list link in this first post so we don't need to search for the post with the list? Thanks! - Findy, May 8, 2013
Findy, I am not sure what you mean by the sublink, but at the top of the directions is a blue link "Verbs to use" which has the 500 verbs. I'm not sure what you are asking. - katydew, May 8, 2013
Yup, sorry... got it now! ¡Gracias! - Findy, May 8, 2013
what do you mean by present "past, past" future? - Rey_Mysterio, May 10, 2013
Rey, I mean the present tense, the 2 main past tenses (preterit and imperfect) and the future tense. Just practice for 4 often used tenses for beginners. - katydew, May 13, 2013
I think when Findy says sublink that she means put the link to the page of the verbs we are on. Like **5**.... - jessicamccall117, May 15, 2013
Help...When I click on the word list above, I do not get the list...even though I and looking for quiz 7. It worked ok for me until about two weeks ag - gohern, May 25, 2013
The link suddenly changed mid-thread. Click the first link I've listed then look in the top right corner for the list number (quiz # 1, 2, etc.) then go to the drop-down option and choose the current list. - katydew, Jun 15, 2013

yea be sure to put that so no one else does it while your working. lol - jessicamccall117, Apr 30, 2013
Well you can see how long it took me to create the darn thing!! But I did have fun! I have trouble with the imperfect past, too. It sounds like I'm saying "Obama" which isn't what I want! I'll keep trying though! - bandit51jd, Apr 30, 2013
Yes, Obama's name does sound a little verbish. ;o) I guess we need to mark our places while we work. ha. - katydew, Apr 30, 2013
Good work. You may want to give the Ah syllable more stress on the imperfect. a-cu- chi- AH- ba- mos. - katydew, Apr 30, 2013
very good idea katy, so people like me and you don't do one at the same time. lol - jessicamccall117, Apr 30, 2013
Katy, I did give it a try. Does the imperfect sound any different? I don't think it's right yet, but I do appreciate the tip! - bandit51jd, May 1, 2013
I think that the 2nd one was even better. Well done. - katydew, May 1, 2013

Good work. I think the English translation for the preterit & imperfect would be, "accused" because 'have accused' would use haber and the participle = hube acusado; había acusado. - katydew, Apr 30, 2013
Thanks, I feel silly for over looking that. Is there a difference of when to use haber vs. tener? I rarely use haber. - jessicamccall117, Apr 30, 2013
Haber is the helping verb type of "have/has/had". Tener is the kind of have that you have it in your possession. Tener can also be translated as am/is/was/were in some instances like 'Tengo miedo"... I'm scared. - katydew, May 1, 2013
Jessica, type in "acusar' in the conjugator and scroll all the way down to perfect and perfect subjunctive. These all need haber in some form as they all need some type of helping verb, have/has/had in different tenses. - katydew, May 1, 2013
Gracias, Katy! - jessicamccall117, May 1, 2013
