Can you correct me something?

Question

There is one thing that has no change it’s my feeling. I’m as happy as I was a child.

I don't kno if it's correct or not.

FYI, the wording in the title of your thread is a little wrong also:

Rodney, maybe "Would" or "Will" rather than asking if one has the ability? - 005faa61, Apr 25, 2013

We use can/could all the time even though we know it's grammatically wrong. So in spoken English this is what I would say, even though technically it means "do you have the ability". Somehow saying 'could' or 'would' makes it seem more polite. - katydew, Apr 25, 2013

Para decirlo en la forma más semejante a lo que tienes en mente según lo que hayas escrito, diría yo: There is one thing that has never changed and that is my feelings. I´m as happy now as I was when I was a child.

hola, you used the wrong words....firstly, the question should be "can you correct something for me" or "can you correct something for me" and then your sentence should be " there's something in me which has'nt changed, my feeling, i am still as happy as i was being a child

You should say:

Can you correct something for me?

There is one thing that has no change it’s my feeling. I’m as happy as I was a child.

There is one thing that has never changed: my outlook on life. I'm as happy as I was when I was a child.

It's not realistic to say, "I have been happy since I was a child," because there are so many experiences in life and everyone has sad days. When you say, "I feel happy." That implies only for now or today. Your outlook on life, your perspective, is something that could be consistently happy over time, with an occasional sad feeling.

There´s one thing that hasn´t changed; my feelings. I´m as happy as I was as a child.

In other words, simply saying ¨as a child¨ can be ¨cuando era niño¨

I.e. you can easily leave out the when and the second was. It´s reads much more fluidly and without the repetitive sounding second ¨was.¨
