How come girls and boys say stuff different?

Dear peeps, I would like to know why do they have to say some stuff different? I kinda don't get it for some reason is it so they know there a boy or girl????

What do you mean? Like in adjectives? Well, you can say someone is a woman if she says "Hoy estoy contenta" (Today I'm happy), or a man if he says "Hoy estoy contento". Just a gender mark. It is just like bachelor party/bachelorette party different endings mean different genders.
