Spanish book Ideas
I have read several spanish books a few years ago when I was a little bit more practiced. I read Caja de Carton and a translated verson of another book aged towards teenagers. I found that the translated versons of books were a little "English" sounding. Does anyone have any non-translated spanish books that might help me improve my spanish? I would say that I am a barely-intermediate Spanish speaker. If there is such a thing, hehe....Thanks for your help!

It's not a book, but if you want practice with authentic spanish then you can watch a show called "charlie y lola" on Youtube. It's good because although it's a children's program (but is actually entertaining for all ages), they use intermediate level spanish. I've been watching it and grabbing some great phrases and understanding from it!
If you are searching for a book for tennagers I can recommend you the book "Qué poca prisa se da el amor" by Martín Casariego Córdoba. It is a very funny and cute love story that I read long ago. I think the language is intermediate level, and its entirely Spanish humor/language/stereotypes. So it can be helpful while learning ^_^
While that is possible to have that happen in translated books, you have to understand that in both languages more often than not things are said exactly the same. What's more, in both languages the same thing can be stated in different ways. Sometimes with a little twist, but very close.
