Preterite Speaking Test Question

Preterite Speaking Test Question

I have a speaking exam coming up and one of the questions I have to answer is: ¿Te pidieron las profesoras para la tarea todos las días la semana pasada?

For a response I have: Sí, se lo pidieron para mí.

I just want to know if any of it makes sense. From my understanding the question is asking if they asked the teachers for last weeks homework for me. If that is the question, I am trying to respond by saying: Yes, they asked them for it for me.

Thanks!

The Spanish phrase does not make sense. Nor the English explanation... unfortunately.

So, re-state just in English and let see if you can be led somewhere. But you are doing your homework, not us. wink

That is the question my teacher gave me, but, because this is such an early Spanish course, she may have left out some key parts of the sentence in order to make the sentence seem comprehensible to a group with such a limited vocabulary. - LemonDrop7, Apr 25, 2013
If you can think of anything that the question could be asking I would love to hear what you think so I can work out an answer. - LemonDrop7, Apr 25, 2013
