Upside-down Question Marks

Question

How do I add an upside-down question mark to a sentence in the "Write" section of a lesson? For example: There is an upside-down question mark (¿) below this box, but no such option exists in the "Write" section.

To be honest, whenever I need such a symbol (and you're right, some of them are omitted in the flashcards and the other lesson sections), I open the home page of SD in another tab and copy the symbol from there. I normally "arm" myself with one of those symbols ready to be pasted whenever I do the flashcards, especially when the 'ü' symbol comes up. Nothing beats ctrl + c and ctrl + v in terms of speed for me.

Put on your numeric lock on then press the ALT key (hold it down) and then key in 0191 in the numeric keypad and you should get your ¿. The ones below, I got following my instructions 3 times:

What do you mean?

Is the first symbol in the row immediately below the input box.

If you don't that row, then you can try the combination key ALT168, you press ALT and keep it pressed while you punch the 168 on the numeric pad. If you are using a laptop, you might have one of those keyboards that sports a the numbers 0 thru 9 embedded in the keys with another color. If so, then look for the Fn key with the same color which you keep pressed down while you press another key that says "Num Lk" under the INS(ert) or DEL(ete) keys with the same color. If that is your case by pressing the letter keys M-J-K-L-U-I-O-7-8-9 you'll get the numbers 0 thru 9.

I hope I was clear, and that you have this type of keyboard in case you have a laptop.

For WINDOWS use Francobollo's suggestion. For apple, change the the US language, to Spanish ISQ and press shift and the PLUS and EQUAL key!! When you are done, you can go back to English. Again, this is for APPLE (if you have a MacBook Pro) Buena suerte
