Como se dice "state-wide" en espanol
Can anyone help me translate the phrase "state-wide" in Spanish?
Por ejemplo: "Spain has three main state-wide television channels"
Would it be correct to use either "nacional" or "estatal"? Is there another Spanish equivalent for the term "state-wide"?
Si pudiera ayudarme, gracias!

estatales would be correct.
State-wide is idiomatic, so it doesn´t translate.
However, would it still be correct to say "España tiene tres cadenas de television estatales"?
A chain or network in this case is made up of various television stations, so if you to say this, it would be España tiene tres cadenas/redes estatales de televisión.
I think (nivel) estatal is the best option for your example but just for future reference in some contexts I think you could also say de alcance provincial.
"estatal" = pertaining to the state in the RAE.
I tried to look for "Statal" in English dictionaries but they don't show it. It seems to me that it is in the Unabridged version of these dictionaries, I don't know.
To me "statewide" means "a lo largo del estado" meaning that it is all over the state.
EDIT: I forgot to translate it... (oops)
I would translate your phrase as "...en todo el estado"
¡Gracias a ustedes!
Gracias a los dos!

One other way to say "state-wide" is "a nivel estatal" (literally, on a state level)
What is it called
