help translating "to play baseball, a bat, mits, and ball are needed"

I can't figure out the correct way to talk about equipment needed for a sport in Spanish.

Some other ways of saying it in English: "A person needs a bat, mits, and a ball to play/when playing baseball." "This sport requires a bat, mits, and a ball."

I figured I can use the verb "necesitar", but I want to see if there is any other way.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Bat = bate
Mits = guante de béisbol
Ball = pelota
