Vilnius is the Capital of Lithuania in the Baltic area of Europe ,

It is known as the "Culture Capital of Europe" and has the cleanest

tap water in Europe. It has many fine old buildings dating back to the

middle ages , but also many modern outstanding examples of

architecture.

It is also the home of one of our great achievers ,"Migelis"

He has just attained the incredible feat of earning

1 million learning points. I find it hard to get my head around this , except

knowing Migelis I am not surprised , because he has shown us that his

work ethic is legendary , he is also one of the nicest people I have had

the pleasure to know, he is always kind , helpful funny and incredibly

knowledgeable , his comments always are inspiring , well done mate.

Thank you Ray for being so nice and opening this thread, really I did not expect that, it is a surprise for me. I’d like to say thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you, my dear friends, for your beautiful posts.

I’ve been learning Spanish for two years now. At the very beginning I was thinking whether it is possible to learn foreign language (in this case Spanish) for free (not taking classes, spending money for grammar books etc.), just doing it on my own. And I started, I found this wonderful site, the first Spanish friend I met here was Paralee (the best teacher ever!!!) and her lessons, then I met other amazing, supportive, encouraging, friendly people. In other words, I found a treasure - I met ALL OF YOU. Of course, my Spanish is too far from perfection and this is just the beginning of my Spanish adventure, but already I can read, watch movies, communicate (mostly with my dog… jejeje). Isn’t it fantastic?

Once again, thank you guys and ¡vamos a aprender más juntos!
