Has anyone heard of a tree with a name like that? It was in the western part of the state of Puebla, north of Huajuapan, Oaxaca.

Gracias! Me ha ayudado muchisimo! Le cree posible que haya una traduccion en ingles? (Tal vez el arbol no existe in EEUU.) Ha visto mi pregunta sobre el insecto "gariera" (o algo asi?) Lo escuche en el mismo lugar -- cerca de Acatlan en Puebla al norte de Huajuapan.
