Challenge- Prepositions
Prepositons-This is something we all need a little practice with. This challenge is intended to strengthen your use of prepositions.
en- on
cerca de- near
lejos de- far from
derecho- straight
a la izquierda- to the left
a la derecha- to the right
delante de- in front of detrás de- behind
ante- before
debajo de- under
encima de- above
a lado de- next to
sobre- around
So you can get a fun picture ( which around here is no problem) and give two sentences, one in English and one in Spanish, telling where the subject is in the picture. ( using prepositions of course) They can be as simple or as challenging as you want them to be.
EXAMPLE: 
la abeja esta en la flor.
The bee is on the flower.
Try hard and most importantly have fun!

El geco pequeño está a lado de otro geco, el geco grande.
El geco grande está buscando a la izquierda, y el geco pequeño está buscando a la derecha.
El ratón está encima del gato.
The rat us on top of the cat.
las jirafas están una al lado de la otro.
The giraffes are next to each other.
El pescado está encima de la encimera.
The fish is on top of the counter.
My kitty is on the table beside Buddha.
Mi gatito está en la mesa al lado de Buda.
