What do I write on a cheque to receive cash at a bank

In addition to what SD´s financial advisor has said; where the check says "páguese por este cheque a" , because you want cash from your own account you should write "al portador". And don´t forget to use commas in place of decimal points.

That´s how it was 10 years ago when I last lived in Mexico, so maybe it has changed but the end result is the same. If you can identify yourself as the account holder, they will cash the check - 005faa61, Apr 10, 2013

Really, cheques are outdated, I hardly ever use one any more, pay by transferencia bancaria, much easier and safer.

If visiting Cyprus, take cash before you go.

Usually, you need to fill in the space where it says the amount to be paid, then you fill in the date and sign the cheque.

Normalmente habrá que decir cuanto dinero necesitas, y firmar el cheque con la fecha.
