I know this isa bad word, but how do you say it in Spanish?

The proper meaning of baboso is a slug.

We also have slang uses of the word>

Baboso(a) (noun and adjective) ..... someone who is dense or acts like an idiot.

Babosada (noun) ... something idiotic or stupid.

This not a bad word even when used as slang - it´s just colorful and descriptive.

I believe there is an interesting use of the word as it can be aligned with "pegajoso - clingy" as follows,

pegajoso, persona lovey-dovey (colloq)

Estar baboso CON or POR alguien - To be besotted WITH somebody
