I think you should add Spanish language to your computer so in the keyboard next to the button p you need to press on it then directly on the button e , I added the Spanish language and at the beginning I went crazy how to get it because it is important for me I mean the accent mark for us who are beginners it helps us to distinguish the differences between similar words like tu y tú , como y cómo , se y sé . some webs contains the buttons especially for those who does not have the Spanish language in their keyboard .it is easy to add the Language I did it , you need just to go to the settings and add it . good luck

This is probably in the list of of the top five questions that are asked here. There are several ways to input accented Spanish vowels. The best method depends on your situation. What kind of a computer do you use, PC or Mac? What is your location or native language? If you would complete your profile we could answer your questions better. For a PC user who types frequently in both English and Spanish, I find using the United State International keyboard to be a very good solution. Just do a search for “United States International keyboard” and you will find a Microsoft site that explains the keyboard and includes a wizard to set it up for you. With this keyboard, you hit the apostrophe key and then the vowel that you want accented. If you actually want an apostrophe, hit that key and then the space bar. This keyboard does not provide a way to enter ñ, ¿ and ¡. You can enter these by holding down the alt key and typing numbers on the numeric keypad (num lock must be on) as follows: ñ alt-164, ¿ alt-168, ¡ alt-173. If you have trouble finding the Microsoft site, reply back and I will post a link here.

Hello Eliss,

For typing Spanish accents, I use a chart that was given to me in my school. Here, you can use it as well: https://media.glynlyon.com/a_sp1_2012/1/spanish_keyboard_a.htm

The left column is for PC (Windows), and the right column is for Mac.

I hope this helps~
