Yes, but instead of doing all that eggs and rabbit thing we have a family party on monday (tomorrow) and we have chocolate cake called "La mona" as a present to our godchild.

Yes, Christian people all over the world, whether they are in Spain or Mexico or Peru or anywhere else, celebrate Easter. In Spanish they call it "la Pascua".

It's also called ' Semana Santa' and it's celebrated in a big way with processions. It's not celebrated with chocolate, bunny rabbits or hidden Easter eggs, it's a religous holiday. Spain is a Catholic country.
