To be safe... in spanish
Estoy distinguiendo entre los verbos. ¿Lo es, "estar seguro," porque el seguridad es temporal o lo es el verbo, "ser"? No lo sé, también, ¿Comó lo está, a mi español?

You would have to give an example, because this could depend entirely on what, or who is safe, and how safe, or indeed sure of themselves, they are.
If you were safe from attack but expected another one I´d use estar. It could be argued that nobody is ever safe but I think that defeats the purpose of the temporary aspect of estar. There has to be a degree of safety or a degree of assurance of safety and that should determine it.
When I drove through Mexico on my own with zero Spanish I was safe for a while the whole way. :-D
To be safe from (attack, predator, sarcasm) - Estar a salvo de
To be safe from (say contamination) - Estar libre de
To feel safe - Sentirse seguro
