Conjugation help

Question

Hi, I need help conjugating envejecer. From what I have learned about Spanish so far (not much) is that for the yo form, since it ends in cer, it will change to zc for orthographic reasons. Is this correct? If so, then it would be envejezco, right?

I am so confused! please help if possible. Thanks in advance.

David, You are right, but the indicative present has it's irregularities, were consonants ( Z and G ) are added before the ends cer, cir, nir, ner:
Agradecer= Agradezco.
Conocer= Conozco.
Producir= produzco.
Merecer= merezco.
permanecer: permanezco.
Entonces: Envejecer= envejezco.
Venir= vengo.
Poner= pongo.
Tener= tengo.
