You can also say:
1.Mi apartamento da al rio Nile = My apartment looks onto the river Nile
2.Desde mi habitación se domina el Nile = My room overlooks the Nile
3 My flat is an apartment overlooking the river Nile
= Mi piso es un apartamento con una vista al rio Nile

One way is to use the construction "dar a".
