Roseta Stone & Spanish Dict
I was given Roseta Stone as a gift and was wondering if there was any correlation between it and Spanish Dict. Would trying to use both courses be confusing or helpful?

Both are helpful in similar and different ways. I believe it could only help to use both resources, but perhaps you should pick similar lessons as you go on.
One of the best things about SpanishDict is the Q&A forum. It can be extremely helpful when getting an explanation to something that you just don't understand or getting a native's perspective. This is something RosettaStone does not offer.
Lastly, I would say to you that in my personal opinion, neither of these things will put you at fluency. One of the most important things, and probably the most important indeed, is actually conversing with a native speaker. Also, there are probably a lot of other learning techniques you should try in addition to everything mentioned before. (Just to name a few: music, books, news articles and videos, etc.)
I my humble opinion, i would try everything. Learning spanish is a long journey. SpanishDict, endless sets of flashcards, Rosetta stone, whatever. What i have also found very helpful is the "Practice Makes Perfect" set of exercise books. You'll get tons of vocab and grammar
It is true that you need spanish speaking friends, hopefully patient ones. To do so, i switched churches to a spanish congregation. it is great to sing along in spanish, and meet warm people. But be warned, there might be a lots of affection.
