Stressed possessive adjectives and pronouns help.

What am I doing wrong here:

this is my example:

adjetivo la cámara digital suya pronombre la suya

I'm under the impression that I put direct objects in front of the possessive adjectives and pronouns but this only works for feminine.

mi televisor

I put: lo televisor mío. Is that not saying the television is mine? I'm confused. What is the proper way for masculine nouns????

I see where you're getting confused.

Instead of using a direct/indirect object pronoun, we need the definite pronoun before the noun.

For example:

el televisor mío

la paella rica mía

los libros tuyos

Notice that many of the definite articles are similar to the DO/IO pronouns. The Los/las and la are the same, while we need "el" to say "the" for simglular masculine nouns.

DO/IO pronouns will take the place of a noun, and won;t proceed a noun.

Quiero el libro. = Lo quiero.

¿Entiendes?

Anoher example:

My car is broken.

Mi coche está roto.

Well, mine works fine.

Pues, el mío funciona bien.

So, the inclusion of a definite article before the stressed posessives will signify solely "mine, yours, etc"
