Yes you can. You can also say "que tierno/tierna eres".

As Rocoso said, Sweet translated to dulce, makes no sense in spanish, you're saying "dulce" for the food, and also, "dulce", at least in chile, it's a candy, or the flavor. Tierno is for people.

In Spain it's perfectly fine to call a person "dulce". It's a word as common as tierno/a and it appears in the dictionary as: "5. adj. Naturalmente afable, complaciente, dócil."

In spanish is more accurate to say "Que eres tierno/a" =)

Agreed. Though "Dulce" is not incorrect in literal translation, it does not convey the same sense of 'sweet' that you are trying to convey. - Rocoso, Mar 16, 2013
