"To do the right thing" in spanish?

I've searched for this and I have seen answers from people on other questions that are similar...However, I'm not entirely sure if they were asking the same question as I am because this phrase can have different meanings in English.

How would you say "To do the right thing" in spanish? Something that is morally right and good.

Haré lo correcto (I'll do the right thing)

Hizo lo correcto (She did the right thing)
