Predicate Adjectives

Predicate Adjectives

In English, there are predicate adjectives: 1. The dogs are loud. 2. The cats were graceful.

In Spanish, which is more common? Predicate adjectives (let me know if there is a special name in Spanish instead of predicate adjective) or adjectives that go in front of the noun it modifies?

Thanks!

P.S. Are there any other types of adjectives besides predicate adjectives? If you find any, could you tell me what it's called in Spanish? Thanks again in advance!

Adjectives will work in almost the same way that they do in English.

For example:

Los libros son caros. The books are expensive.

Los libros caros, The expensive books is not a complete thought, nor a complete sentence in Spanish.

Another example,

Esta paella está muy rica. This Paella is very delicious.

But,

Esta paella rica, This delicious Paella, doesn't relay a complete thought.
