Te Espero...expression?..response..?

when someone says ..."te espero"...does it mean i will wait for you?...or i hope to expect you..?....is it more of an expression or a response....grax

"te espero"... means "i will wait for you". If I say: Te espero en mi casa a las 10:00 you can translate it as: I will be waiting for you at home at 10:00. In Spanish, the present tense works as future sometimes.

It´s also an expression! , we sometimes use it like a "See you later"

Funny verb " esperar ".
Esperar A un amigo means ......to wait for a friend. Estoy esperando a un amigo .....I'm waiting for a friend.
Espero QUE vendrá puntualmente means....I hope that he comes punctually.
