cómo traducir " about it "

Yo tenía varios trabajos antes. Por suerte, pude adquirir muchos entrenamientos "about it". I had various jobs before. luckily i was able to acquire trainings about them/it.

En ese contexto, about them sería "sobre ellos", aunque yo más bien diría "Afortunadamente recibí entrenamiento en cada uno de ellos".

I have no doubt that cae is quite right, given that he's a native speaker and all! But in another context (though it's probably not the best here) you could use al respecto. It more or less means "to that effect" or "with regard to this/that." I think it is used for a more general idea though, not where you could just refer to whatever you're taking about with él/ella, etc.

For example,

Ella me preguntó sobre lo de mi nuevo trabajo, pero no tenía noticias al respecto.

She asked with regard to my new work, but I didn't have any news about it.
