Using prohibir with the subjunctive

Would you use the subjunctive for the following phrase? "She prohibited me from wearing my favorite dress." Why or why not?

Yes I would because the wearing of the dress isn't actually happening so it can't be declared with the indicative mood.

No me dejó llevar mi vestido favorito.

Well, that's one way around this one.

Me prohibí llevarlo ( another).

I think it lends itself to a construction with the infinitive. However, otherwise , if you use Me prohibí que.. then it will be followed by the subjunctive.
