English translation for a Spanish nickname I dont' know how to spell prounounced "Shoee"
I am trying to find out the translation for a Spanish nickname that I am not certain how to spell to begin with. It sounds like shoee. I have tried spelling it several different ways in Spanish to obtain the English translation of this name. I have tried "Chui", "Chuy", "Chue", "Chuey, "Shui", "Shuy", "Shue", and "Shuey". Does someone know the correct spelling of this nickname in Spanish AND what name in Spanish and English it is a nickame for?

Welcome to the forum. I think Chuy or Chuey is a nickname sometimes used for a person named Jesus, a common Latino given name. If you would give us a little more complete profile I would know whether or not I, as beginner in Spanish, was offering Spanish advice to a native Spanish speaker.
Chui and Cucho are both nicknames for Jesús.
There are no equivalents in English.
Hola Ramirezgr. One of my native Canarian friends tells me that there is no "nickname" as such for Jesus. There is however a commonly used abreviation of the name ( nombre diminutivo ) which is SUSO. He does not recognise the words CHUI and CUCHO. Maybe these are words used in Latin-America ???
I can´t say anything for sure, but one hears and sees Chuy used around here a lot. In fact, there's a restaurant chain with that name too.
