Cierre de puertas

"Cierre de puertas" is said in an elevator as being programmed. It's translated into "Doors closing". It's being said when the hotel's elevator is being closed.
Why the present subjunctive of 'cerrar' is being used here and not 'cerrando'? Is it giving a command to itself?

Cierre is not a verb here, it´s a noun. El cierre means the closing.

I'm not sure why, but I see it often.
The word "cierre" translates to the action of something closing.
