La perífrasis verbal de hoy es: llevar + gerundio (to do something for a length of time)
En este caso es complicado porque puede llevar a confusiones. "Llevar + gerundio" se suele referir, básicamente, a algo que ha estado pasando en el tiempo durante un periodo. Es complicado. Es una perífrasis un poco complicada... ¡Pero eso es bueno! ¡Significa que cada vez sabes más del idioma!
Example / Ejemplo
Llevo comiendo en casa de mi madre todos los sábados desde hace 10 años.
I've been eating at my mother's house every Saturday for 10 years.
En este caso digo que durante los últimos 10 años cada sábado he ido a comer a casa de mi madre.

A ‘perífrasis verbal’ is a structure with a helping verb plus an ‘infinitivo’ or a ‘gerundio’ (verb that ends in ar, er, ir).

Una “perífrasis verbal” tiene una estructura con un verbo auxiliar y un “infinitivo” o “gerundio”.
Vamos a practicar un poco estas estructuras en oraciones simples. Estas son las reglas:
1.Una oración por respuesta
2.Usa la perífrasis verbal escogida para esta semana y escribe una oración con ella en español y en inglés.
3.Puedes usar una imagen para ilustrar tu respuesta.
