El fregadero me lame ( this is if it's you that's being licked. Unusual problem.. The plumber may laugh..)

If, as seems more likely, the sink is leaking, try this:

El fregadero está goteando.

... tiene un escape o una fuga..

If that sink is in the bathroom, then it must be a "lavamanos". So it might be "El lavamanos está arruinado/dañado/tapado/goteando", depending on the specific problem.

The sink stopper is leaking.

El freno del lavamano se escapa.

In general, anything that is not working properly uses "no funcionar."

El freno del lavamano no está funcionando.

If the ceramic were broken, I would say:

El lavamanos está roto.

Funny thing is that the pull mechanism to my sink broke just this morning.

I don't know how to say this in Spanish, and lucky for me, I don't live in Spain anymore.
