There are many teachers as well as learners on this site.

Hay muchos maestros, así como estudiantes en este sitio.

It would be great if we can all help Tickl3r in all ways we can.

Sería muy bueno si todos podemos ayudar a Tickl3r en todos maneras podemos.

Dear Tickl3r,

I know you are 12 and are learning how to ask questions properly. It's terrific that you want to learn Spanish and are trying hard even though you have a disability that makes it more difficult to learn and participate.

Do you think it would be possible for your mom or dad to come to the site so he or she can read this and help you understand it? Or, perhaps instead we can talk with him or her so we all can share ideas to help you the best way we can?

For example, one idea I have is that instead of creating a new post for each question you have, perhaps instead you could make a list of questions that you come up with during the day, and save them until the end of the day. Then, instead of creating one post per question, you could put them all in one post per day.

That way, you can be sure you're taking the time you need to ask your questions the best way you can, and you can have just one place to read and get help with those things. For us, we can also do our best to answer your questions if they are all in one place.

I'm also very new to this site and am learning how to participate, too. But I want to participate in the right way because learning anything, including Spanish, is more fun when you meet other people doing the same thing!

Very well put mate , I had no idea that he was only 12 , I thought we had an age limit , in the circumstances he did very well , please explain that I was only trying to increase his knowledge. Thanks mate. - ray76, Feb 25, 2013
This is pure cynism, Ray! No 12-year old disabled person behaves this way! - mcl020, Feb 25, 2013
The child is AUTISTIC, not that I owe the whole world an explanation. Questions? Message Martha-B - 0080b918, Feb 25, 2013
I figured there was some sort of autism spectrum issue. There is something recognizable in the cadence of the posts that reminded me of my friend's son. But hopefully we can structure his participation so it's not as disruptive and everybody benefits. - MyHeadAboveWater, Feb 25, 2013
@ MyHeadAboveW Thank you for the recognition. Not many people quite understand the spectrum. This site is what his homeschool group uses and it has helped him not only in Spanish but i his English and social skills. Thank you again for understanding. DAD - 0080b918, Feb 25, 2013

Tickl, if you could put this up in the body of your question, you are showing that you did some research to share this useful information. - bandit51jd, Feb 25, 2013

So pleased that your son is trying to leans Spanish despite his disability. It shows a great determination and a fine spirit. By following the advice above, I am sure his questions will be answered in future with pleasure. - margarita1943, Feb 25, 2013
Thank you for your kindness and understanding. Dad of Tickl3r - 0080b918, Feb 25, 2013
I have removed the flag. This is very difficult for all of us. Keep hanging in there. A couple things, Sir, is we don't allow the use of all capitals on our website. Using bold in the question and quotes in comments is best or emphasis. - bandit51jd, Feb 25, 2013

Please be aware that Martha, co-owner of Spanishdict.com is aware of the fact that Tickl wants to use Spanishdict.com for Spanish learning. She has approved his use of the site and forum.
