different in meaning?
please help me to know what is the meaning of these words cuz the dictionary here give me the same meaning of two different words such as ( el vocal_la vocal ) ( el capital_la capital ) (el frente_la frente ) ( el colera_ la colera ) (el orden_la orden ) (el corte_ la corte ) (el bolso_la bolso ) (el policía_la
policía) (el guia_ la guia) (el cometa_la cometa )........my señor told me that each two words between brackets have a different meaning and i search in this site and in real academa espanol but all these sites couldn't help me so if anyone help please

El frente (the front): "El frente de mi casa es amplio."
La frente (forehead): "La frente de esa chica no se ve por su flequillo."
El corte (cut): "El corte de peinado que se hizo le queda muy bien."
La corte (court): "La corte ha decidido aplazar el juicio."
El cometa (comet): "El cometa Halley volverá a aparecer a mediados del 2061."
La cometa (kite): "La cometa de ese niño es roja."
El cólera (cholera): "El cólera es una enfermedad."
La cólera (anger): "La cólera es un estado de ira."
La guia can also means La guia telefónica, for example. La bolso doesn't exist, maybe you meant La bolsa.
Your problem is you are not looking at the context in which the words are being used. For example.
capital (masculine) - A value of something , ie shares, capital resources, etc.
capital (feminine) - capital of a city, capital of a province, county seat (in US), county town (in UK); Valencia capital the city of Valencia, (centro) capital; la capital del vino the wine capital.
Other words such as policía and guia depends on whether the person is male or female.
