How do I say at what time I do something?

Hola,

It seems I have forgotten some basic Spanish skills! I want to tell what time I do an activity. I want to say, "I have my first class at 7:45."

I wanted to write...

Tengo mi primera clase a las ocho menos cuarto.

However, I checked this on the translator and it uses "en" in place of "a las."

Do I use "en" or "a las"?

Tengo mi primera clase a las ocho menos cuarto.

Your sentence is perfect.

As for "en" you might use it here, for example: Tengo un clase de español en cinco minutos.
