Okay I need to know how to say WAS in this sentence

Yesterday in history my workshet WAS good.

some places say era some places say fue.

My teacher is really strict and i need the right answer! please help!

Along the same line, I believe you should use "ser", not "estar" because you are referring to a characteristic of the worksheet not a condition and, like Noetol said, that characteristic is not going to change.Oh, and your teachers attitude might not be considered strictness, it just might be she that wants you to learn things correctly.

In my opinion, you should use the imperfect here. This is because your test score was good yesterday, but it did not stop being good today. The state of being good is ongoing.

This is a little difficult, because when you talk about "yesterday", it usually defines a time frame, and more often than not the preterite will be used. Other people may have other opinions on this, so hopefully we will have more input.
