Which "welcome"?

I'm working on a news skit for my Spanish class. I'm trying to say something along the lines of "Welcome to the (title of the news program)", but am unsure whether to use simply "bienvenido/a" or "dar la bienvenida".

For a news show or anything that has an audience of more than one and of mixed gender, we say "Bienvenidos a ..................."
