Using tardar to say how long something takes

Just as a follow up on a question asked here at SD I've just written a little lesson on using the verb 'tardar' to express how long something takes.
eg: Un huevo tarda 3 minutos en cocerse. = It takes 3 minutes to boil an egg.
I hope the lesson might be useful.
