El padre básicamente hace lo opuesto de lo que dice.
The father mostly does the opposite of what he says.
La revolución nacional es lo contrario del "nation building".
The national revolution is the opposite of 'nation building'.
El derecho de publicidad es lo opuesto al derecho a la intimidad

You would say something "es el/la opuesto/a de" the other thing.
