More likely your homework is to put the sentence into the present tense.
Héctor y yo compraran libros en la librería
Héctor y yo compramos libros en la librería.
Hector and I buy books in the bookstore.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
You just need to conjugate "comprar" and you have your sentence!
