While in Peru I would hear people say "con permiso" when cutting through crowds. I was also taught that it means excuse me in spanish class. I might also add that they would sometimes just say "permiso" to shorten it up Im assuming. Im sure there are several ways to say excuse me though.

It depends. If you bump into someone, you might say "discúlpame." You could also use perdóname in this situation, but a native speaker once told me that perdonar is for more serious things, but that could have just been his opinion. If you are trying to squeeze past someone, I would use "con permiso" or just "permiso."

typo I think - perdóneme - 0095ca4c, Feb 8, 2013
Right, for usted. I used the tu form. I could have just as easily have said "perdonadme" (vosotros) "perdoname" (vos, used in Argentina and several other Central American countries) "perdónanme" (ustedes), or "perdonémonos" (nosotros) - BigMike, Feb 8, 2013
Thank you for the explanation. :-) - 0095ca4c, Feb 8, 2013

I think these have all been mentioned, but I'm just going to list them all here for convenience.

If you bump into somebody - perdón, perdóname

If you need to get by someone - con permiso, or simply permiso

If you want to get someone's attention - disculpa, discúlpame
