iPad/tablet

Question

Me imagino que hay diferentes palabras según el país, pero ¿cómo se dice "tablet"? (refiero a un iPad, u otra cosa así). Hay palabras en el diccionario, pero son de papel, o chocolate, u otras cosas.

How would you say "tablet", like the iPad? I'd love to have the words you use in different countries, because I imagine this new technology has different words in different areas. Thanks!

I did find the entry on tablet computer, but I'm wondering if others have experience of using different words. Or if the Language Society has recognized a word as of yet. - alicia8, Feb 5, 2013

I don't know the correct answer for how you'd translate "tablet", however I do know that at least in costa rica they will commonly use the english word for many things such as this, especially electronics. Not only that but they will use the most common / popular english word or brand, for example any tablet they will call an iPad, whether or not it is an apple brand product or not.
