EDIT: Nevermind, aha! I figured it out. It was a spelling error, the correct way to spell it would be pataditas. Pataditas is a diminutive for "patadas" which means kicks! It appears sometimes you can't even trust natives to be accurate! :p
Hi, I heard this word in a song. The only context I have is, "pataitas a la lata." I know it's not much. I also googled this word and I found some more uses of it. It's used a little bit on some Youtube videos, such as this one:

Perhaps it has something to do with soccer? Or maybe pataitas are the count of hitting the ball up to keep it up in the air? This might be slang from Sevilla, considering the singer was from there and I found a few videos with Sevilla in the description.

"dar pataitas a una lata" is an expression, means "do nothing".
