Since both "¡Vamos!" and "¡Vámonos!" are translated as "Let's go!", what's the difference between them?

Vamos .... "we go" (proper translation of 3rd person plural). This is also used to mean "let´s go" and "come on"

Vámonos ..... not a proper word but used to mean "let´s go." We make up other words as well such as "comámonos" ... "let´s eat". It´s OK to do this as long as we realize that these words are made up and won´t be found in the RAE dictionary.

Are you sure about this? I distinctly remember that this is the way you should conjugate reflexive verbs when using the imperative(command) tense in the nosotros form. - BigMike, Feb 3, 2013
Imperative by definition doesn´t really allow for commanding of ones self, reflexive or nonreflexive, which is why this conjugation is not in the RAE - 005faa61, Feb 3, 2013

The word vamos is "Let's go" while the word vamonos is "Let's leave" really not much difference. The first one is just the verb ir and the second is irse (the reflexive form).

I think that " Vamos" means " come on " but "Vamonos " means , "Let's go " .

Welcome to the fora mate , good luck.
