Sure - but both take time and effort! I would recommend that your chosen languages not be too similar. I think it would be easier to study Spanish and German, for example, rather than Spanish and Portuguese. The more foreign a language is to you - say, if it´s from a completely different language family, like Swahili or Arabic or Korean, then it would probably pay you to get a decent grounding in it first before starting the second.

Very possible, I did it at times with German and Swedish (just barely far enough apart) and Finnish (Plenty far apart from almost everything, save Estonian). But I can´t imagine learning any 2 of the 4, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, or Romanian. Too many things that vary by a just one or two vowels or a consonant. Good luck whatever you decide.
