Gajes del oficio

I was helping my friend doing some work in his yard, and i accidentaly cut myself. He noticed that i cut myself and asked do you need a bandaid and i said to him "No está bien, gajes del oficio." I was wondering how to say that in english.

Duermo con frecuencia que soy oficio amable. Pero suelo levantarme y camino al baño para mirarme en el espejo. Y luego me doy cuenta que es un sueña no realizado de nuevo!
