I am very grateful to you for giving me a chance.
This expresses the idea "humbly thankful and highly appreciate" in English
Another option to Jubilado's excellent suggestion might be:
I am very grateful (and would like to thank you) for this opportunity.
Another idea: If you are in the U.S., make sure you thank the interviewer for his/her time. In most countries that have a low-context culture (focus on the individual, personal space, and job success), like the U.S., Canada, England, Germany, etc., time = money. Time and being on time reign supreme here in the U.S., because we dont have a high-context culture (communal, focus on the group, family, etc. with a more lax attitude about time). Thank you for your time is the most important thing to say as you leave the interview, at least if youre in the United States.
