Who else? and, What else? as answers.

Hi all,

OK, I think as just plain, real questions, I could translate Who else as Quién más, and what else, as Qué más.

In English, I often find myself answering casual questions with those phrases.

As in.

1st speaker: What are you doing there Roger? Studying again? What else? (as in, ¨what else would you expect?¨)

or.

1st speaker: Well look who´s working late again 2nd speaker: Who else (i.e. yes, that´s always me)

Is it still simply ¨Qué más?¨ or ¨Quién más?¨

Or are there better phrases that fit this context?

I think you can use them but you can't just say ¿Quién más? or ¿Qué más?, sometimes you need to add a little bit more in the answer.

This is a dialogue I had with my mom lol. Mom: ¿Limpiaste la casa?

Me: ¿Y quién más pudo haber sido?

Another example:

A: ¿Te cortaste el pelo?

B: No, me creció la cabeza. ¿Qué más pude haber hecho?
