There are many if you are looking for modern day. Do not read Reina Valera. Even the newer version sound old fashioned and vocabualry and sturcture that would probably be hard for a native speaker to understand. I like the Nueva Version International because it is similar to the English NIV but slightly more parahprased. If that is too hard read Nueva Traduccion Vivente, which is just like the NLT in English. If you are not sure go to a site like Biblegateway.com and try a few.

Is Reina Valera akin to the King James version? - kimmy5899, Jan 29, 2013
The Reina Valera is very similar to the King James translation... I am not sure, but think they translated it straight from KJV, not word for word, but as close as they can be given that there are different word orders in Spanish, etc. - latinabi, Jan 30, 2013
If you don't mind the antiquated language in each, they are close enough that one could read them side by side since you won't get too lost in translation. - latinabi, Jan 30, 2013
Reina Valera came before King James Version and even the Genvea Bible. - BellaMargarita, Jan 30, 2013
I frequent BibleGateway.com...awesome mention! :) - cristalino, Feb 1, 2013

As a Pastor of Hispanic Ministries and former missionary, I use and recommend the LBLA, La Biblia de Las Americas, the Spanish version of the New American Standard (NASB).

I think the Bible app has some different versions that you could check out. As for the best one, I am not sure... The app is just called "Bible."
